Eileen Young is a writer and Year-1 student at BHSEC Cleveland.
It’s red tendrils danced with such deadly grace
It glowed with such beauty, more beautiful than the sun
It sang a beautiful, crackling tune that rung in my ears for eternity I touched it and it bit me
The searing pain the beauty caused was immense
Yet, even though I’m hurt, I still find it so beautiful and elegant
A message of context from the writer:
“I wrote this poem inspired by the fires of love within the Aeneas, inspired by the fires of Dido”.
