Marc-Joelitza Montgomery is a writer and Year-2 student at BHSEC Cleveland. She is the recipient of the Literature of the Americas Award in the Spring of 2018. As well as the recipient of the World Literature Award in both the Fall and Spring semester of 2018-2019.

They stop cheering for you once they start expecting the habit from you.
They stop being endearing towards you when they grow envious or annoyed by you.
Then they stop appearing for you once they finally had enough of you.

And lastly,
A certain day comes–
when they stop HEARING from you…

They stop hearing from you once you realize you didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
But that day will never come…
As long as you constantly stop and think about what you deserve.
