A guilty conscious,
to what do I owe the pleasure?
Dropped a bad habit,
Just to gain another.

Hands in chains,
but my mind is behind bars.
Heart in pain,
and my soul has gone somewhere far.

Guilty and alone,
but misery sure loves comfort.
Dealing with the weight all on my own,
even when feeling outnumbered.

Still never told a soul.
