This peaceful scene of a mother whale and her calf was created using blues and reds on a small primed canvas.

 

Painted in the Bard school studio, the intricate shading and textured paint adds a depth to the painting that draws the eyes inward.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Defiantly not inspired by the film “Finding Nemo”, this solitary clownfish adds a feeling of desolation and makes the painting look unfinished. Exactly what the artist intended.
